There are three major Stud poker games. Seven Card Stud poker is by far the most played, online and offline. When I was growing up in Manteno we played poker quite a bit and we used to play a game called baseball. It was much like 7 card stud, only 3′s and 9′s were wild. In the online arena standard 7 card stud is the 3rd most popular poker game. Years ago you couldn’t even play Stud online because of the low traffic but online poker has seen huge growth and there are thousands of real money 7 card stud players at the tables around the clock. I play 90% of my Stud poker at Pokerstars because they accept U.S. players and have excellent software. You would be surprised at how easy it is to win money at their 7 card stud tables. All you have to do is play tight (only the best starting hands) and you are almost guaranteed to win. Hand selection for Stud consists of playing pairs, straight draws and flush draws.

7 Card Stud Hi Lo

In Stud Hilo you will be trying to catch the highest hand or the lowest hand. Sometimes you can even have both and win the entire pot, this is called scooping. 7 Card Stud HiLo is very popular at rooms like Poker Stars. You can play at stakes ranging from penny poker to high stakes tables with pots averaging $x,xxxx+. The best hands in Stud Hilo are pairs, 3 cards under 8 and straight/flush draws. A good strategy for Seven card Stud High Low is to play hands like 2-3-4 very aggressively. There is a lot of bluffing in Stud HL as you can imagine so always remember that. The best Stud HL players in the world will tell you that it is a game of math. Knowing the odds, including the pot odds, are vital in Stud HL.

Razz Poker 2012

Razz is the most misunderstood of the 3 stud poker games. Whoever invented it was really going against the grain. You want the lowest hand possible, which is A2345. That is extremely rare though so really you are ust looking for a hand that is lower then your opponents. Since you get to see 4 out of 7 cards it doesn’t take a genuis to figure out the other guys best possible hand. You will have to take every upcard into consideraton when you are playing Razz poker. You don’t have to have 8 or less so this game is somewhat different compared to Stud Hi Lo. The best internet poker room for Razz poker is Pokerstars.

Pokerstars 2012 – Pokerstars.com

Pokerstars accepts players from every country, including the USA. When you signup you will be able to earn a $600 bonus. They will match your first 3 deposits, for a $600 max. You just need to enter the Pokerstars.com promo code PSP11820 during registration, plus the STARS600 bonus code when you deposit. Their peak traffic is 300,000 so you will be able to find stud poker action 24/7. Pokerstars is also the only room to offer 8-Game Mix, a popular mixed poker game.

Online sports books can be quite intimidating to beginners. There are many things you will need to understand before you should start placing bets. Before signing up at an online sports book you should do research on the company. Some bookmakers have spotless reputations and others have bad reputations. You should also verify that sports betting online is legal in your country. The best NBA sports books include the following:

Bodog NBA sports book

Bet365 NBA sportsbook review

BetOnline sportsbook review

If you are in to betting on basketball you won’t find a better place to do it than these three bookmakers.

Whatever your needs and preferences are, we are ready to help you find best solutions. With reliable and secure online sports books, betting on sports has never been easier! With online sports books you can bet on a wide range of sports like football, baseball, hockey, tennis, basketball, and take advantage of free sports bets and great sports betting odds.

Finding The Best Online Sports Books

Betting on sport events can be fun and exciting, but you also want it to be profitable, right? The best sports books don’t simply take your bets – they provide you with current information on how the betting odds and lines were established, and they will also give you good recommendations based on this information. I personally like a wide range of teaser bets. Sports book teaser bets are some of the most profitable ways to bet on sports.

For instance, the best sports books will be aware of injuries to key players and the way they might influence on the outcome of upcoming games. The best sports books will also be aware of any internal problems teams might be having and will be able to tell you which teams are hot.

The best sports books are looking for everything that can give their customers an edge. Cause if you are winning frequently, you feel that you can trust their recommendations, and thus you become a regular client. Of course it would be cool to bet on your favorite team every time and win, but your chances are much better when there are experts to help you. So choose a reliable sports book and lay your bets! Here is how you can make it: check on the following features of the top sports books:

- Good sports books have several years of operation

- They offer reliable customer service

- They have Las Vegas style rules and regulations

- They offer good bonuses and incentives, including bonuses for the first – They have available management

- They are not mentioned in negative reports of problem companies

- The hours of operation are flexible. The best sports books are open around a clock

- The sports books are legal in the countries of operation.

We wish you good luck in dealing with a sports book you choose, and hope that our information will be helpful to you!

This article will teach you everything you need to know about A5 triple draw hand ranges and odds.

The median hand is thus a very rough K-high. The median is the “1299480th” hand, while the first pair is hand 1,317,888. Each rank comes in 1024 possibilities due to the suit assignments of the 5 cards. (1024=5^4.) So the median hand is the 18th worst K-high. Counting down from KQJT9 gives us KQJ87 (unless I made an off-by-one error or two or three.)

If you have not been reading the poker news sites you may not be aware of the fact that Victory Poker is no longer on the Cake Poker network. They have dropped that crappy network in favor of the best network: Cereus. Comparing these two networks is a lot like comparing a new BMW to a 1990 Ford Escort. Victory Poker no longer uses bonus codes because of this network change. I wanted to make this post to provide information of the new victory poker referral code. These new referral codes include larger bonuses and more perks.

I can guarantee that no brick and mortar system has a comp or VIP program that comes close to beating the one at Victory Poker these days. Here is a breakdown of the bonuses you will receive when you use one of our codes:

A Victory Poker referral code bonus

Referral code freerolls

Referral code tournaments

Victory Poker is giving away more bonus money than the vast majority of online poker rooms. They are also running a boatload of freerolls for depositing players and play money players alike.

US players can play at the real money tables and the new casino section at Victory Poker. There are many cool features that online poker players love:

Badbeat jackpot – I’ve seen this jackpot peak at around $1,000,000.

Royal Flush jackpot – You can receive a hefty jackpot for catching a Royal Flush at Victory Poker

VIP program – Victory Poker has one of the Internet’s most rewarding poker VIP programs.

Casino game jackpot bonuses – Many of the casino games at Victory Poker have huge progressive jackpots.

Much more…

You can claim this bonus by visiting poker4ever.com.

It is official. The 3-D movie has made a big comeback and is here to stay. Gone are the days of the red and blue paper 3D glasses that movie-goers used to experience a “somewhat” 3D image on the screen. Please check out my 3D movie news blog for information on upcoming 3D movies. New advances in 3D technology have allowed such blockbusters as James Cameron’s Avatar to wow us with a “feels like you’re in the picture” experience. Since the inception of film, filmmakers have been looking for methods that can be used to display movies in three dimensions, or 3D. And today’s movie studios have a toolbox of goodies that they can use to make a movie literally come to life before your eyes – or reach out and grab you from your seat (well almost). Let’s look at the history of 3D and how far it has come.

Early 3D Films

Since 1903’s L’arrivee du train frightened the wits out of some movie patrons who thought that a train was actually about to run over them where they sat, there have been startling advances in 3D. Next up was the first 3D movie to be commercially released The Power of Love (1922), and also the first to be viewed using anaglyph glasses that feature lenses of opposite colors that, when they are combined with two corresponding strips of film, created a 3D effect.

A system known as the Teleview System made its debut in 1922 and featured small viewers that were attached to movie theater seats that were synchronized to open and close based on alternating frames in dual film reels. Because the system was cumbersome, it never made a wide impact on the 3D industry; in fact, just one film was ever developed for use with the system.

The Great Depression halted efforts for most studios to adopt 3D. Another notable 3D film was released in 1936 and went on to win an Academy Award – Audioscopiks. This film again used the anaglyph glasses format of red and cyan lenses. The invention of polarizing sheets would mark a better generation of 3D films on a larger scale.

3D Gains an Audience

In 1952, a little film called Bwana Devil would become the first color film in 3D. Up until then, although stereoscopic 3D movies were printed on red and cyan reels, they were still yet in black and white. This made it hard for viewers to really envision things in 3D because, obviously, we all “see” in color. This film made use of polarizing sheets and Polaroid filters, which would become the staple for films made in 3D during the time period. Little changed with 3D until 1970 when StereoVision 3D technology allowed for the side by side display of reels onto a single film strip. While 3D enjoyed resurgence during the seventies, the cost of 3D equipment and films made them unpopular with movie theaters. With the 80s came IMAX technology, which made 3D filmmaking less expensive and ensured a better picture for viewers without giving them the classic eyestrain that accompanied watching older films in 3D.

Modern 3D Experience

The modern 3D movie experience saw tons of competition for IMAX technology including Dolby 3D, Master Image 3D, and Real D 3D, all of which abandoned the use of the anaglyph glasses for a more modern approach to 3D viewing. 3D movies are now so popular that many films are now released in 2D and 3D versions. Film studios make major profits at the box office with films that gross millions of dollars, which in turn, justifies their upgrades to better equipment for viewing 3D movies. And at home, consumers are now able to purchase 3D televisions that have a 3D mode that works with a special battery-operated LCD shutter lens. These 3D glasses allow light to pass through at various intervals in synch with the video display. Some are even wireless to make for a better viewing experience.

7 Card Stud is a hard poker games to master, but is one easy poker game to be profitable at assuming that you can out-skill your opponents. As a result of the large number of cards dealt face-up in 7 Card Stud a skilled player has an easier time gauging how many ‘outs’ they have at any time in the game by looking at what cards have already been pulled from the deck. This seven card stud strategy article will teach you everything you need to know about seven card stud games.

Practice at 7 Card Stud will make you a better player, here are some tips to help get you started:

Push High-Pair’s early.
If your initial three cards contain a high valued pair you have a good hand to start with, however, high valued pairs often don’t improve or even hold up once other players get more cards. Unless another player has indicated strength, it’s usually better to get players to fold early through betting while you have the best hand rather than to slow play.

Consider slow playing three of a kind.
With two pair being a common final hand in 7 card stud slow playing three of a kind is usually a sound strategy when your opponents have a tendency to fold early, because more often than not your three of a kind will take the pot. Be careful that your opponents’ hands don’t contain straights or flush draws.

Watch other players’ hands carefully.
Remember that all of the face-up cards showing on the table can’t be used as possible outs for your hand. In the case where your hand needs a 4 to complete a straight and you observe three of them face-up on the table you know that the odds of having the fourth 4 dealt to you are very small. Also if your hand needs one more spade for a flush but you observe eight other spades on the table, you know there’s very little chance of you drawing the single remaining spade.

The other way you can use your observations of your opponents’ cards is for you to be able to better predict the odds of you drawing the card or suit that you need. Suppose for example, that you have four cards to a flush and you observe that a low number of that suit is showing in the other players hands, you are now in a position to use this information to predict that you have an increased likelihood of catching the required suit to make the flush.

Remember what was folded.
In a 7 Card Stud Poker game when a player folds their cards are turned face down on the table. Therefore to maintain your tracking of what cards are left in the deck it’s important that you have kept a mental note of what cards were folded so you can add them to the remaining face-up cards to know what cards are out of play.

Watch players’ bets early to get an indication of what their down cards may be.
A player who bets early is usually showing that they have a good starting hand; you may be dealing with an opponent holding a pair or even three suited cards. Since they are signaling that they have a strong starting hand, if you feel they have, act according to what you feel their hand contains and the chances of your hand being a better one.

7 Card Stud has a much larger number of face-up cards for players to see than when they are playing hold’em games, and this allows the players to get a much better feel for what’s left in the deck and to calculate their odds a bit better. Players who pay attention to what cards have been dealt are better able to predict the odds and can act accordingly.

A couple of days ago I noticed that Full Tilt Poker was offering some new games. The only new game that really interested me was 10 game poker. I enjoy playing challenging mixed poker games so this one was right up my alley. I had a little trouble with Badugi Poker and the Triple Draw rotations but my first session of 10-Game Poker was +EV. I played around 200 hands wich would mean I played two complete rounds. I ended up being up $156 and I’m pretty sure I was earning 2X the number of FTP points. 10 Game Poker is not for novice players. If you are inexperienced and you just have to play 10 Game please start off at the small stakes tables. I’m not saying that you are going to lose or anything but it’s better to win small than lose big.

Full Tilt Poker has the perfect software in my eyes. It’s fast and there are never any bugs. They have a whole team of Pro players whom you can either watch or play against. They offer a nice 100% match bonus up to $600. I’m looking forward to playing in their 10-game Poker tournaments. I’m sure many rookie players will want to try this new game out and I will be there to take their chips. Read the 10 game rules before playing.
