Appearance

The four-foot, fifty-pound Magnus is a stark contrast to the people around him, if only for the fact that everyone else is much bigger. . Atop his head rests a relatively organized mop of cyan hair framing a blunt, round face with an upturned nose.

History

Youngest of a long line of Greco-Roman elves, Magnus is a powerful fire mage despite his age. His mother was killed shortly after his birth and Magnus has sworn that he will enact revenge upon her killer. He embarked upon the Hunter's path to further this goal.

Personality

To put it lightly, Magnus has issues. At 39, he is extremely young for an elf, especially one working as a professional hunter. He is constantly haunted by the life that could have been his had it not been for the death of his mother. Magnus has an inferiority complex that manifests itself as a superiority complex (he acts big not because he thinks he is, but because he thinks he isn't) and he is always trying to prove himself to those around him. He very much wants to be recognized as an adult by the elven community, but has no friends or family (his father being mysteriously absent) to sponsor him for shakri'pah. (He's too young, in any event.) He has a weakness for mother figures, always trying to find his mother in others.

One thing that gets Magnus into trouble is his temper. He wields an immense amount of power, but has very little control over it, and his frequent tantrums tend to result in destruction. His battle fury is unequaled; it is only through luck or miracle that he has not killed himself yet through his own general inability to control himself. He really only manages to beat his opponents by sheer force, not any mental prowess or strategy. So, in short, Magnus can be described as an uncontrollable ball of destruction, barely kept in check and ready to explode at any moment.

And if that weren't bad enough, Magnus suffers from dyslexia. He despises reading passionately for this reason. (He can't stand looking stupid because he gets the letters mixed up.)
