Face: triangular, with sharply angular features, moderately pointed ears, and four little dimples on his forehead called energy spots -- when he uses his powers, they create a sort of wispy energy halo around his head

HISTORY

Collective History:

Individual History
Born into the ruling class of Lubela, Jaden enjoyed a privileged childhood with summers spent in Situ and slaves at his command. When he reached the Age of Alignment he was sent to military academy, where he spent the next seven years of his life learning the art of command and warfare. At the Age of Majority he became a High Commander. He was present at the subjugations of the planets Lir Onnuis, Karan, and Ghorzha and instrumental in the subjugation of Yuat Prime and the Six Moon Alliance. He earned a reputation for being a bit of a maverick, favoring the personal command of small units over the deployment of large armies. He was ruthless in battle, commanding several energy manifestations, most famously darkness and ice. He was also considered somewhat of an oddity, traveling with only one slave and preferring to do most things himself. His slave was a Trandestani named Ilai; all of the soldiers under his command were freeborn or freed upon entering his service.

During the attempted subjugation of Yuul the Lubellans came across another race with powers similar to their own. Being the most aggressively-positioned of the High Commanders, Amn was the first to enter a direct battle with one of the Yuul and despite his high proficiency in manifestation, was mortally wounded.

Post-Extraction
He would surely have died had not Praetorix Emperilu seen his situation, extracted him, and nursed him back to health. He lived in her household for two years and was instrumental in the establishment of the Fleet, becoming one of its founding members. He also lead the movement to sever the Fleet's ties to other nondimensional organizations and establish it as independent with affiliation only to the Three.

Amn's position within the Fleet was one of autonomy, being trusted by both the Supreme Commander and High Empress to conduct himself however he saw fit. He was the de facto director of the Specialist Corps and served as the model upon which the Specialist Corps was built. He served as an advisor to the Navy and a commander when needed, and did the same for the Assassin Core, though he was never a certified assassin. He had his pick of officers from several divisions when he wanted to run an Op and though he was ranked only 5-Disc, enjoyed a degree of power equivalent to C-5.

After the Fleet's dissolution, Amn immediately jumped on board with the Black Hand Mercenaries and currently serves as an operational commander there, doing gods-only-know what. He lives in the Neighborhood in a very distinctive black honeycomb house, made from some unknown Lubellan material resembling tar in appearance.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Though Amn commanded free soldiers, he is pro-slavery like all Lubellans. He simply found that those under his command fought better when they had a personal stake in the outcome and a personal interest in the survival of their leader, as at his death all reverted to standard military slaves.

Amn has a sister, Tricela, a consort of the Lubellan Emperor.
