DR.
(JONATHAN)
MSpecies: transgenic human
Gender: male
Age: 29 (partially artificially aged)
DOB: October 1917
Birthplace: Earth>Hungary>Szeged
Praetor: Empelu 10
Occupation: scientist (independent), fmr. Assistant Director of Intelligence
Languages: Hungarian, Italian, German, Russian, English, Polish,
Ukrainian, Turkish, Portuguese, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Taiwanese,

Personality
Extremely erratic, borderline autistic and most likely
schizophrenic. M has severe problems with social skills and spends most of
his time in his own little world. He's known for talking to himself (or
invisible people) almost constantly and he often becomes obsessive about
small, inconsequential things. Despite his severe social disabilities, he
has a truly brilliant mind capable of comprehending even the most
advanced, obscure theories. Some say he rivals a computer in his mental
acuity. He is a study in dichotomy: serious and intense one moment,
cheerful and flippant the next. Brilliant and highly-controlled one
moment, erratic and terrified the next. His sense of humor is crude and
usually sexual.
There is a rumor that Dr. M is not insane at all, that he merely acts
crazy so he has freedom to do whatever he wants without any
responsibility for his actions. If it is true, perhaps he has grown so
accustomed to this delusion that it has become a reality.
Dr. M is intensely loyal to his few friends, and expects their total
loyalty in return.
Though he has done many brutal, cruel things in his life, M has
recently turned over a new leaf, becoming more fully the sweet, even
childlike genius his closest friends have always known him as.
- Physical Characteristics
Height: 151 cm
Weight/Build: Very slight, as if he's liable to blow away in
the next strong breeze, and exceedingly thin. Usually hard to tell
because he wears bulky lab coats.
Hair: copper, short, always very messy and unkempt; every once
in a while his hair mysteriously turns completely white, but it just
as mysteriously turns back to its usual color after a short while; the
style does not change
Eyes: hidden behind his glasses, which are thick and round; his
right eye is clear blue and the left white
Skin: very pale
Face: round, with a small nose and dry lips; he has
eyebrows, but they are faint and usually hidden by his glasses
Attire: Dr. M can be found in one of two versions, white and
black. Regardless of how he is dressed, he always wears longs sleeves
and pants to cover any exposed cybernetics.
- The White Coat: Any variation of high-collared single or
double-breasted white lab coats, long-sleeved, and knee-length or
longer. White or grey pants. $1400 Italian leather shoes. Thick, "soda
pop" glasses with opaque white lenses and thick black plastic frames.
The Black Coat: High-collared long-sleeved black shirt, plain
black knee-length coat, black pants and black leather shoes. Opaque
black glasses with silver wire rims.
The White Coat with Black Trim: Much like the
above, but with glasses unclouded and his eyes visible, and black
trim on his lab coat.

Collective History: The Ice Field
Somewhere in the veil between the worlds is a place, cold and frozen,
split by a massive icy wall. It has always been this way, lifeless,
until one day a handful of poor unfortunates were thrown there by
circumstances beyond their control.
They were twelve at first. They had nothing from their backgrounds in
common, not even planets of origin. A pilot, a scientist, an artist, an
alien, a chef, a street sweep, two office workers, a thief, a waitress,
a soldier, and a student. They had no reason to trust one another. They
had no one else. It was cold, there was nothing but several supplies
that had gotten accidentally knocked into the ice field with them, and
there seemed to be nowhere to go. Only a mysterious wall rising forty
feet into the air, too smooth and slippery to climb over, too strong to
dent, too strangely perfect. They blamed the alien with them, called it
an abduction, but there was no proof of anything. They rationed the food
and tried to think their way out, believing the wall to indicate that
there was some intelligence at work to which they could appeal.
Then people started disappearing. One by one, there one day and gone the
next. Had they wandered off? Had the abductors moved them? Or had
someone else take them? Whispers formed, that maybe there was a
thirteenth person.
With people gone, the food rations lasted longer. They began to wonder
if this was the work of one of them. More mistrust and suspicion, people
watching one another, and maybe they would go a day or three without any
more disappearances. But as soon as they relaxed, someone would
disappear. They tried all sorts of solutions, but to no avail. There
were twelve, then ten, then seven, then five. The alien, Minnarkentanit
Trant. The scientist, Dr. M. The pilot, Andmarth Kerthas, an office
worker, Violet Seattle, and the chef, Jubal Lemarc. Andmarth had sworn
to Violet he would get her through this, but they were resting side by
side when he woke and suddenly she was not beside him. The sky was the
rusty color that passed for night in this sunless place, and Violet,
Jubal, and Dr. M were missing. Only Trant remained in the little camp
with Andmarth, his mysterious smile revealing nothing.
Andmarth went to find the other missing humans. He found the blood
first. A trail of it, sinking into the ice, and then he saw Violet, Dr.
M, and Jubal.
Individual History
Grown in a laboratory, Dr. M was the last male specimen of the
Illuminati's genetic engineering program, under the leadership of Dr.
Varga. M was engineered for pure thought, the extreme of a sliding scale
on which A was engineered purely for physical traits, and B through L
with varying combinations, G being the most balanced. As the most
thought-inclined, M enjoyed a special position among the scientists, and
was allowed to pursue research alongside them in their continued efforts
to thwart the Nazis and the Thule Society during WWIII.
Unfortunately, this provoked the jealousy and ire of one of the other
subjects, L, who considered himself to be M's equal in terms of
intelligence. Perhaps hoping to take M's place in the Illuminati's
scientific community, L pushed M into the rift caused by the hyperstatic
drives that powered the era's dirigibles and aircraft. Unknown at the
time (though it had been theorized), these rifts were actually subdimensional tears.

| ADDITIONAL
NOTES Dr. M is missing
several important internal organs and most of his left forearm, all of
which has been replaced with cybernetic systems. The systems do not
function very well and he requires constant "refueling."
